DESCRIPTION:Join us on Thursday\, October 21\, 2021 for our first meeting of the 2021-2022 term to learn about: \n Industry Unbound: The Inside Story of Privacy\, Data\, and Corporate Power \nby Ari Ezra Waldman\n \nProfessor Ari Ezra Waldman\, a leading authority on law\, technology and society\, is a professor of law and computer science at Northeastern University. He directs the School of Law’s Center for Law\, Information and Creativity (CLIC). Professor Waldman studies asymmetrical power relations created and entrenched by law and technology\, with particular focus on privacy\, online harassment\, free speech and the LGBTQ community. \n  \nFor those who plan on attending in person\, please let me know ASAP.
